Founders
Stephen has a strong track record in innovation, commercialisation and management across energy, property and retail. His previous roles in Commercial Director of Quiet Revolution and CCO of X-Wind Power (wind turbines) and MD of Fleet Renewables (EVs, tidal, solar, biomass).
Stephen Crosher
CEO & Co-Founder
Tamás is an engineer and serial entrepreneur with a PhD in experimental fluid mechanics from the University of Cambridge. 20+ years in the cleantech space turning ideas into solutions, creating teams that deliver, and building companies that provide solutions for customers. Previous roles include R&D Director at Quiet Revolution and CTO at NPI waste heat recovery for data centres.
Tamás Bertényi
CTO & Co-Founder
Graham has over 25 years’ experience in senior financial roles with a focus on cleantech. Previous roles include CFO at C-Capture (carbon capture) and previously at Yorkshire Hydropower, Eel power and Q-Bot (hydro, energy storage, energy efficiency AI). Experience includes raising tens of millions of funding for cleantech.
Graham Cook

Board
Jim was founding CEO of Rezolv Energy, a central European based Renewable Energy IPP, developing and constructing some of the largest projects in Europe. Rezolv is equity funded by Actis, one of the world's largest sustainable infrastructure funds. Previously Partner at EnerCap Capital, private equity fund investing in renewable energy projects in the CEE region. Jim has significant experience of investing in power projects (up to £1.3 billion) and technologies.
Jim Campion
Chair
Yves is former President & CEO of Alstom Wind and of GE Hydro. He will provide valuable domain expertise, experience and guidance on the commercialisation of the company’s long duration energy storage technology, its project development and its business strategy.
Yves Rannou

Ian is Managing Director at of Turquoise International; a merchant bank specialising in climate technology investments. He has significant financial advisory and investment management expertise.

Advisors
Marjaana Peeters
Marjaana is a strategic finance and corporate development leader at Shell with deep expertise in FP&A, treasury, and governance. She has led major transactions across renewables, low-carbon infrastructure, and cleantech, and established a carbon-portfolio optimisation desk for energy trading.
Matthew Crosher
Matthew is a chartered Mechanical Engineer with nearly 23 years of hydro industry experience. He is currently a Senior Project Engineer at United Utilities. He has overseen more than 230 hydro projects totaling over 128 MW. He previously served on the British Hydro Association council and the Scottish Renewables Hydro Work Group.
Michael Pullinger
Michael is a clean energy consultant passionate about the transition to a sustainable world. He brings expertise in hydropower, solar, wind, storage, and conservation, helping clients from business case to commissioning. His current PhD research aims to understand how simulation and modelling can reduce the cost of turbine design.
Carol Bartlett
Carol is a senior sales executive. A master at brokering deals and win-win relationships, Carol has had success bringing new technology to larger industries. She trains and develops sales teams using a unique methodology that maps out opportunities. She has 20 years in the Oil and Gas Industry and holds a MSc. in Geophysics.
George Formandl
George joins us with a formidable track record as the co-founder of Rezolv Energy, EnerCap, and Curo Energy. His extensive expertise across project finance and business development within the energy transition will be instrumental as he supports our efforts in delivering a coherent project development and execution strategy.

4 PhDs, 9 Master’s Degrees,
14 languages spoken fluently.

In Memoriam

Prof. Richard Cochrane
CIO & Co-Founder
Prof. Cochrane was Director of Education and Associate Professor at Exeter University. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Energy Institute. Richard designed the Quiet Revolution QR5 helical VAWT. He also led the development of a high efficiency double regulated Kaplan turbine.
Richard Cochrane passed away on 25th May 2023. He dedicated his career to fighting climate change. The entire team at RheEnergise is committed to carrying on his vision.
